Jiaxing City, a birth place for the Communist Party of China (CPC) and also famous for the delicous food Zongzi.
DAS and Xianghuai all staff together visit Jiaxing on April 8th , a shining day in the spring season and had a wonderful trip day in this historical and beautiful city.
The first impression to Jiaxing is that a house stands beside a bridge crossing over a river, a quite place. But when you stepped into the Moonriver Street,you would feel the commerical atmosphere, hearing the peddlers shouting, promoting and bargaining with the buyer and smelling the local snacks. It shows you another vigorous aspect of this city.
Zongzi Cultural Museum is located at this street, showing the histroy of Zongzi and workers produce and pack the Zongzi on the spot.
Last stop is to south lake. South lake is a landmark for Jiaxing, cos the first national congress of CPC was held there. It covers an area of 0.54 km2.It is pleasing experience to take a boat around the Nanhua and feel gentle breeze.
